For regional and commercial transport within a radius of 200 km from the place of operation, KRAVAG confirms insurance cover of up to 40 Special Drawing Rights per kilogram.
Steblix holds a transport liability insurance policy with KRAVAG-LOGISTIC Versicherungs-AG. It covers our contractual liability under transport law as a carrier and freight forwarder, subject to the agreed insurance terms.

For regional and commercial transport within a radius of 200 km from the place of operation, KRAVAG confirms insurance cover of up to 40 Special Drawing Rights per kilogram.
For road haulage within Germany, the policy also provides insurance cover of up to 40 Special Drawing Rights per kilogram.
Cross-border road transport is insured in accordance with the provisions of the CMR within geographical Europe and to or from the Mediterranean countries and Cyprus.
Activities as a fixed-cost or groupage freight forwarder are insured up to 40 SDR/kg in accordance with Section 466 HGB and the ADSp 2017.
SDR stands for Special Drawing Rights. The actual liability is determined by the respective transport contract, the applicable liability law and the agreed insurance terms.
The policy also covers damage incurred by the customer during loading and/or unloading, even if these activities are not expressly regulated in the contract.
The policy also covers liability arising from the transport of certain vulnerable goods. These include communication and consumer electronics, computers, accessories, software, mobile phones, portable IT equipment, storage devices, chips and processors.
In the event of loss, regardless of the cause, or damage caused by vandalism, the contractually agreed compensation limit per means of transport or storage location applies to these categories of goods.
Other categories of goods listed in the insurance confirmation include tobacco products and spirits containing 15% alcohol by volume or more.The insurance confirms Steblix’s contractual liability under transport law. A liability limit per kilogram therefore does not automatically correspond to the actual value of a shipment.
The liability provisions applicable in the event of loss or damage depend, among other things, on the type of transport, route, contract and the applicable statutory or contractual provisions.
For particularly valuable or unusual shipments, the insurance requirements should therefore be clarified before transport begins.The insurance confirmation covers road transport within Germany as well as cross-border road haulage under the CMR within geographical Europe and to or from the Mediterranean countries and Cyprus.
